Posted in: M6.4 quake jolts Ehime, Kochi prefectures See in context

I didn't feel the quake because I am living in Tokyo. I hope nobody has been dead and insured by this quake.

This earthquake reminds me of the quake in Noto Peninsula which happened in Jan.

There has been several quakes, big or small continuing to happen.

Prof. Kamata, who retired from Kyoto University, said Japan has come into the era when the underground in Japan has got active since 1000years ago, which may cause the eruption of Mount Fuji.

So we have to make conscious today is at risk of big earthquake occurring at any time, but to be careful cannot stop the activity of underground and volcano. We have only to get ready of quake to come and know how and what to do when the quake hit Japan.

Japan has different position toward Middle East from US due to oil demand. Though Japan has no oil domestically, US has affluent shale oil and gas without relying on Middle East. So, Japan may face difficulties in procuring oil form Arab region conflicting with Israel, which US has been in favor of, if Japan will make them upset by its remark.

Posted in: China charges driver in toddler hit and run See in context

Poor girl! Two of the drivers must be put in jail after being charged and convicted, I think. The cases made me think about Chinese mind toward 3rd party. I read in a book which says,i remember, there are only two aspects in chinese way of thinking, that is, Inner and outer. Inner is the space which a Chinese is involved in and outer is not inner which means the space where one should not be interested in and enemies are living. For two, the area where the girl was run over must be outer, so, it must be none of their business whether she is dead or alive. The way of thinking is quite different from which Japanese has. What they have done is to be blamed and seriously punished. It has no room for argument I think.
