Do you believe that Western countries care more about the Chinese people than the Chinese government? Tens of millions of Chinese people are traveling in an out of China every year. Huge number of foreigners live and work in China. How stupid and or ignorant do you think Chinese would have to be to not know what happened. How can we verify that 45 million number?

I doubt there are very many Japanese people on this site. Based on the slant of opinions on this site, I would speculate that it's mostly foreigners living in Japan.

The fact that they still commemorate this shows how rare violent crimes are in Japan as opposed to some other so called developed countries.
