"Isn't Putin the only one who needs to be convinced of that for peace to return?"

We need both eyes to see the picture more clearly.

Ukraine Ms Carol will be free and well again for sure, but the sooner we call and sing for peace, the greater the chance to be back to normal in time.. it doesn't have to be more bloody and cruel.

Posted in: Sweden, Finland take steps toward NATO membership See in context

It's getting messier!

Instead of trying reason, we're making weapons out of countries concerns.

I'm afraid NATO will make of Finland what had been making of Ukraine; a weapon !

Why should Usa's or Westerners' war be everybody's else war? Each and every nation should have its own foreign policy based solely on the nation's interests.

What if Japan sees the solution for this conflict in sitting around a table, would the allies give it a listen?

No doubt, millions of people are making a living out of car driving, but if given a chance to own a self-driving one there will be a way out.

"..seeking to underscore respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations..."

Let's start by closing all foreign military bases in any given country, and hold Israel accountable for Palestine occupation and its apartheid rule.

You can do whatever you like with your body but not to the extreme of stopping a human heartbeat. Abortion is the outcome, what caused it should be addressed first and foremost.

What else to expect from an apartheid state?

They even denied killing her at first, if it wasn't for the " image" they wouldn't give it a toss!

They just can't stop the killing , and the land grabbing!

No nation is 100% safe or protected from being troubled by unrest or war or whatever. The point is you should always try to put yourself in asylum seeker shoes.

Who would have thought that Ukrainians would someday become refugees?

When an enemy gets as closer as to your border you will have to try peaceful means first to make your concerns seen and heard, but then if ignored and undermined, you will be left with no option but to try what your enemy would be more than willing to try if threatened, Force!

Iraq ,thousands of miles away, had been destroyed on false faked pretext

This is a war to get Russia on its knee, Ukraine had been used to provide a pretext !

Force to westerns had always been the answer to "NO"!

Posted in: U.N. holds emergency meeting on Taliban crackdown on women See in context

The point is; why do they force women to wear or not to wear anything, regardless if it's required by their religion or not?

If western governments have the right to designate a certain wear for women to not to wear, then why on earth blame Taliban for doing the same?

The big question would be : why do we have, as diverse and different as we are, to adopt a particular way of life or standard, namely westerners?

Posted in: U.N. holds emergency meeting on Taliban crackdown on women See in context

Muslim women in France are being banned from any public office if seen with headscarfs, and fined if seen with burqa. Now is this a fair treatment of women?! At least Taliban doesn't claim to be democratic.

The question is : why such mistreatments of women in such countries aren't on the news?

Posted in: Finland's leaders call for NATO membership 'without delay' See in context

Putting all the blame on Russia doesn't really help!

A way out of this conflict should have had been negotiated and finalised days after it broke out, if the intention was to put an end to it of course!!

Posted in: U.N. holds emergency meeting on Taliban crackdown on women See in context

There a lot to care about in this world, other than how should Taliban apply to "Mr White Supremacist view" on women!

Aren't these same women in desperate need for economic support and help, why don't they hold an emergency meeting on that?!
