I was a reporter at this event. We sat there for more than 30 minutes listening to them including their presentation about their trip to the Glendale statue. A reporter's job is to present both sides of the story. Most reporters at the event asked questions on behalf of the other side of history. Their response was always: the government said it didn't happen - so it didn't. If anything was blind in that room it could have been these two women's faith in their government.
