Many voters seem dismayed at the waste of money and time for another election so soon to Abe’s discredit. The timing of the election is working both for and against Abe, if Koike can get young and women voters out of the house and off their devices she has a good chance. Interesting month ahead either way it goes.

Posted in: Tesla to build world's largest lithium ion battery in Australia See in context
Australia is one of the worst polluters, of which much of it come from extraction and coal for steel and energy export including LNG to Japan (not to mention the cow farts), it has NO nuclear power. Australia is vast and a very low population density hence many smaller power generators, the cost of modern and retrofitting low emmision coal & LNG power stations is huge, as is the cost of replacing infrustructure that is changing so quickly is a huge risk. Building and financing infrustructure that will last and be usable - sustainable is a difficult decision, especialy when the cost of powere is also one of the highest in the world. The use of battery storage is one sustainable toward a low carbon future.

Just when they need time to recover Kami seems to be unhappy about something. I guess after the earth quake April last year the ground would have been disturbed and loosened in some areas to become more prone to land slides. The earth is constanty changing and Japan is young in geological terms with its mountain beauty comes natures challanges. I come from an anchient flat country where time had ground the landscape down, each time a walk near a steep retaining wall or hill side I feel a pang of fear.

I dont see strong evidence here. The world becoming too PC sometimes, it was a socializing event at a Karaoke joint which a lot of things happen, probably a few drinks and a more relaxed, dare I say fun attitude, in a typical Japanese immature - naïve sense someone is being themselves who comes from a different family or regional background where more inocent physical contact as normal. As happens when office groups form and collusion leads to zelouse intentions and deluded perceptions. Soon a an innocent pat on the back will be considered immoral or abuse. Sad world.
