Kobe again, huh. Good luck to the police for their investigations.

Posted in: Yusei Kikuchi faces most important season yet for Mariners See in context

After the damning Seattle Mariners' former president interview in which he attacked the need of interpreters for his team, I'm actually impressed Kikuchi still have the willpower to stay.

He also basically admitted to the cross-cutting on all corners. Hilarious self-destruction video and a must watch on what NOT to say publicly.

"Koike-chan said Tokyo needs to be on state of emergency for two more weeks!"

"Okay, we'll just make the cases higher so that it would be better for our dear leader!"

Every time.

Just a 25-year old brat who needed attention who coincidentally was raised in a toxic 5chan environment. Of course there are many others like him, but his idiocy went above and beyond by sending death threats. At least there's no Internet in jail.

ulysses

The young woman definitely needs help.

Yes, she's definitely misguided. Maybe her concept of affection was based on her past relationships that maybe taught her, "if I sent these naked pictures of me she would eventually notice me" or something along these lines.

I don't get her reasoning though, I mean why would you send naked pictures to your mother figure?

Posted in: Party over at Clubhouse, the app that had China talking See in context

This is the first time I've heard this, but is being gay banned in China? With their policy effectively culling the Chinese female population, there is bound to be male-to-male relationships inevitably.

I am glad to see that there is a distinct percentage of Chinese populace that resists the norms of their constricting regime, albeit small. It all comes to awareness.

Posted in: Foreign volunteers for Tokyo Olympics stuck in virus limbo See in context

It's unfortunate that they just want to help but they are in the frontlines of a looming political tug-of-war they didn't think they signed up on. Might be best to burn bridges and cut their losses. I was in the verge of volunteering myself but fortunately I was too lazy to sign up.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think this is the true reason why the government wants businesses to close at 8PM. They want less power consumed overall.

Posted in: Tokyo Olympics face another headache - not enough medical staff See in context

I'm thinking no participants would be the next hurdle? Along with not enough restaurants to keep the potential audience from being hungry since they effectively culled the industry with their half-assed rules.

At this point the torch bearers should pass the torch at an arms' length, then the torch doused in alcohol for disinfecting at every leg.

Mickelicious

Do you take these before or after the insulin shot?

Cmon, Shiroi Koibito's sugar content is pretty tame compared to for example most American cereal. At least the people at Ishiya admit and advertise their products as sweet compared to the cereal companies.

Posted in: NZOC chief says some athletes may skip Tokyo Olympics: Radio NZ See in context

These 200 athletes are in for their harshest decisions of their life.

With New Zealand on full lockdown for the next year, even if the athletes manage to snag medals, if they manage to get infected by the virus they will be shunned upon and their efforts will be for naught. Still, the Olympics comes just once every four years, and the athletes might not be in their prime anymore when the next one is up.

It's ultimately a gamble with hints of risk management.

Good suggestion. That's two characters though so I don't think it's possible.
