Warmer air can hold more moisture. As global temperatures rise in the future, we can expect more intense atmospheric rivers, leading to an increase in heavy and extreme precipitation events.

In the near future, the malignant vicious cycle of rising of the temperature and humidity will not be accompanied by precipitation events any more. The temperature will rise monotonously and steeply until the Earth burns down and the oceans evaporate and converted into steam.

The issue is not Tesla vs. not Tesla. The issue is electricity vs. petroleum. The Japanese manufacturers are very conservative and anti-Earth. They continue to push clunky petroleum cars.

The denial of the climate crisis is stupid and suicidal. Our knowledge of physics and system theory tells us that in the wake of the inputs inserted by humans the climate system has become nonlinear and unstable. This system is full of malignant positive feedback loops that push it away from equilibrium. There are no stabilizing mechanisms whatsoever that can keep the climate system in equilibrium. But there is no need to be an expert: The rapid rise in temperature and humidity is visible to the naked eye. The catastrophic loss of our planet and the ultimate extermination of humanity are very near. There may still be a remedy: Getting out from energizing ourselves from carbon, and moving on to a new era of energizing ourselves from the sun's radiation and from heavy nuclei. That is easy to do, and should have been done a long time ago. However, there are powerful social forces that fight vehemently against this simple and obvious cure and against the attempt to salvage the planet and the human race. These enemies of the planet claim that moving to modern transportation based on electricity will ruin our society. These devils do not explain how can the usage of efficient, high performance and enjoyable electric cars ruin our society? And what society will remain when the temperature rises to hundreds of degrees Celsius and all the oceans boil and become steam?

Yes, and hopefully someday soon Putin will achieve NK level poverty for his citizens as well.

Even if the claim that North Korea is impoverished were a true claim, this is not the business of Japan. Japan needs to conduct its own life, solve its own problems, and stay away from Korea.

It is the right of the North Koreans to conduct their life according to the socialist method, if this is their choice. It is not Japan's duty to prevent this. Japan should stay out of the Korean issue.

Wind energy is limited and unstable. However, solar energy arrives in enormous plenty. Nuclear energy should be considered as a clean energy as well. All land transportation, including haulage, can be entirely based on electricity. Much of container and bulk shipping can be moved to railway transportation. As to aviation, there are new advancements that reduce fuel consumption greatly – see about the Celera aircraft, for example.

Meanwhile the so-called green revolution is pushing the cost of living sky high for normal folk.

The insistence to terminate our beautiful planet, while it is so easy to move from carbon to solar and to nuclear energy, and from primitive petroleum wagons to modern electric cars, is pushing away the very possibility of existing and living for normal (and abnormal) folk.

Sure. The planet will not move closer to the sun. But a greenhouse procees is not triggered by getting closer to the sun. Try to put your child in a closed automobile, and you will find her baked in a temperature of 70 degrees. This is called a greenhouse effect.

A greenhouse process stops only after reaching some saturation. The greenhouse process that our planet undergoes currently will reach saturation only when the boiling of the oceans will end, after all the water evaporates and become steam.

fallaffel, The reliance on the oceans as a CO2 sink is illusional. Saturation is reached very quickly. The level of CO2 in the atmosphere is increasing, and this is just a trigger to a vicious cycly. The humidity is rising, the temperature is rising and the ice is melting. All these processes are accelerating. If we do not do anything to stabilize the system and save ourselves then we are finished.
