They are not related to the US ones and K-marts in Australia are doing super great in recent years by getting rid of the middle buyers and directly buying products from factories. Its products are of good price and qualities. Many products sells out quickly.

Before the pandemic started the top countries the foreign tourists in Japan from are China, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Nuclear weapons are deterrents. It protects you from being attacked in the first place. If Ukraine still has its nuclear weapons I do not think Russia would invade it.

Another fact China is rapidly building its navy fleet. It will soon have 3 aircraft carriers and its fourth one will be much bigger that capacity to carry almost 100 aircrafts and launch fighter jets with bigger payload. China is planning to build 4 of them and some high ranked government officer did once say eventually China will have nuclear powered carriers.

Mate, very true but can it be done.? I do not think there is enough farmland in Japan to sustain its 100 millions plus population. Eileen Gu is another American-born athlete (for skiing) who decided to represent China instead of the US in the Olympics, very similar situation to Zhu Yi. Especially as she is supremely talented and expected to medal in multiple events.

Eileen Gu is kinda different. Before the Olympic she has already got many commercial endorsements in the US. However, they are nothing compared to those she receives in China. Maybe she really wants to represent the country her mother is from but it is highly likely money is another factor. Now with an Olympic medaI she is one of the most celebrated athletes in China. This means virtually unlimited commercial endorsement and I doubt she is gonna miss USA. By the way if you wants to know how come she gets so many endorsements, just google her picture.

FYI, according to other online news. Her father is a famous A.I. rearcher who has won some major prize overseas and returned to China a few years ago to be head of research project. I am not a fan of ice skating but I kinda remember something similar happened to a famous female Japanese pro ice skater years ago. that’s one difference many might say between Japanese culture and UK culture. In the UK personal expression through music, clothes, transportation etc is deeply ingrained in the national psyche, not the overwhelming urge to always blend it and not stick out.

@Yoshisan88, correct! I was just pointing out a high vaccination rate does not correlate with the number of cases. Japan is capable of reaching new records with this wave just as Australia has. Vaccination rates will indeed keep people from dying, but not catching it.

If Omicon is really the one that ends the pandemic. That is good! I really want to visit Japan again. However, is it mild enough to be spread through the population and the small number of people who need hospitalized does not strained the medical system? Let's say 1 in 10,000 people infected with Omicon needs hospitalized then in a country of 125.8 millions is 12,580. Is the medical system good enough to handle it in a short period of time?

Yes totally realize it when everyone who is missing from our work is vaccinated people who are in hospitals.

The vaccine cannot 100% protect you from hospitalisation. It reduces your chance of hospitalisation if you are unlucky enough to catch the virus. It is like wearing a helmet while riding a bike cannot 100% protect you from having a accident and suffer serious injuries and even die from it but it reduces you chance of this happening.
