There is an argument to be made, however on the other hand once you start with eugenics problem you are on top of another slippery slope in modern countries. (In places like CCP China, that is of course not an issue.)

Family? Which family? Today family is an old-fashioned "institution". Forget it. We are all free to do what we like, be what we want, think what we like, no commitment, no obligation, just fun. Young people have time for sex but don't have time to ask for help and probably THERE IS NO ONE LISTENS TO THEM. We can blame the girl, the boy who just had fun, the father, the mother but this will not change the direction we are going.

There are such so many problems that await us in the next years... we need strong and smart politicians, I honestly don't care "how" they use the toilet. Their sex is the last of my priority.

You're right but unfortunately that's exactly what this "society" is producing.

I believe local governments need to "tackle" this kind of problem more efficiently. A common fund for funerals, more information for people, maybe on TV. An easy-to-remember phone number. People need to know that there is someone who can help them. Otherwise this sad news will just increase day by day.

Here we have a classic case of burnout of a "weak" person. Who decides he is a "mature" adult? How many grown-up people are there who behave like children? A burnout happens to adults, can happen to a 17-year-old boy who lived in a facility. For me it is just a defeat of this "modern" society, nothing else. A kiss to the little girl anf a kiss to the boy, he needs it.

Useful when you're late and can't cook without making too much noise because it's too late. Time ago I always kept a couple in the kitchen as plan B. Yes it's better not to use the seasoning packet, but eating one a month you won't die. With my wife we have fun making fresh noodles then freeze it in small portions x2. You can prepare many of the seasoning by yourself, youtube is full of such videos. I don't know if it's cheaper but it's fun and healthy.

So while Japan may rank highly on this one issue, this issues almost never happens. Hardly enough to make Japan an unsafe country.

It doesn't say Japan is a dangerous country, it says Japan is not heaven on earth, it helps to understand why people are so shocked when they read such news. People believe that since here no one goes out of the house shooting everyone so no one can have mental problems or just do similar things. It's amazing how much misinformation and illusion there is about Japanese society and behavior.

There are rankings showing that Japan is in the top 10 for child murder reports. This is a strange result, how can one of the "safest" countries in the world do it? As one of the safest countries in the world, the murder of a child weighs heavily. If we assume that Japan is heaven because it is safe, how can we accept it? (and this is the mistake, for me).
