Kyo wa heiwa dayo ne, the Ryukyu Kingdom had a tributary relationship with China and was not part of it. As for being buddies with the Americans they killed so many Ryukyu people unlike the Chinese.

@ETHAN1001, forms require employees to fill out the forms correctly and present them to new customs officials. It is an added time and expense. I am sure there are delays clearing customs and food can go rotten sitting on the docks awaiting clearance. The added expense could reduce profit to lost. Who wants to pay money to provide another nation with food? Thus these companies will sell their food in a different market. As for the German food stores, perhaps they will relocate to other countries like the USA. I keep seeing new German food markets opening up across the USA. Lastly England is a small nation at around 60 million. Added expense, worries. Why would another country bother to sell them food?

Fighto! South Korea has started the hate towards the Japanese. It can only be ended by them. This will not happen as long as hatred towards the Japanese is taught in their schools. I am more worried about South Korea attacking Japan than China.

@ETHAN1001, I think you have missed the point. This is going to lead to food shortages and hunger in the UK. When the population starves anything can and will happen. I just went through Heathrow a model of British "efficiency". Perhaps this is the beginning of a unified Irish nation. This time they can watch the British starve. Why would companies go to such trouble and expense to sell food to the UK?

Japan should stop selling anything to South Korea. South Korea will just steal any investments from Japan. Also Japanese need to counter boycott South Korean.

Been told all my life that only the Americans can protect Japan from China, Russia and N Koreans. Japan must learn to defend itself and then give America its walking papers. They are too expensive for the defense Japan receives.

Do I have to state the oblivious? The pilot should of been more careful dropping the fuel tanks. Placing the safety of people before themselves. True I was not flying the F 16 but there was a Jr High School less than a km from the impact point. I need more information like the speed, altitude and direction of flight.

@Desert Tortoise perhaps not though what is more important to you? The fighter got to the civilian airport and then the USA closed the airport out of security concerns. What if the tanks fell through the roof of a school? We all have to live with the outcomes of our actions.

@Peter Neil the article stated at least one dropped in a residential area.

Yet the tanks were dropped in a residential area. The pilot did not make sure to drop them in a safe place. Reminds me of a US F100 that went down in Okinawa. The pilot ejected and the plane hit a Okinawan school.

Yet the bottom is too soft to build a runway, how long did it take to build the second runway at Naha? What about the other reclamation projects? The new airfield at Swab does not have a completion date in site. Lastly the bases are the reason for the reclamation projects.

Still most Americans do not understand Korean, how can they enjoy the songs in Korean? It would be just noise, ok the dancing is cute but still. I myself do not understand Korean at all. During my trip to Seoul had to read the English and the little kanji.

If you do not like it do not use it. Amazing on how people demand what other people can do. Am sure it is harmless.
