ihavegreatlegs.

US Beef is widely sold in japan(just not very popular).

My local stores sell US/Aussie/etc Beef, NZ lamb, South American/US/etc chickens and those are japanese owned and run stores.

No shortage of overseas food in my neighbourhood.

Serrano.

1yr on Death-row is about 6-8+ times the cost of 1yr in general population.

There are more guards per inmate, single cels, etc, etc that make up those extra costs.

I agree with the motion that that "native" whaling needs to looked at again next Year.

Many native tribes either sell the meat or let it rot on the Beach(Faroe Islands) also the majority of them use very modern equipment(nothing traditional/ritual about their hunt).

Those socks are actually very comfy and healthy, very common in Japan across all age-groups and sexes.

Waiting to read the verdict in Japanese, as there re few "Life Sentences" on the Book and am intersted in wht type it is.

Supposedly without parole which could mean till death. Still cheaper than having him on death-row for 30+yrs.

Out here in Western Tokyo in my neighbourhood they are building quiet a bit of Bike-Lanes now.

This is helped with the raising of the Chuo-line and many roads being widened now as well as traffic volume on some roads being reduced.

There will be one bike-lane/road alongside Chuo-line that will go from Mitaka station over to Musashi-Koganei and possible further west.

Agree with Ivarwind.

There is no rule that you can't use an air-con, they actually said that if you can't bear it, etc switch it on. Yes, we are supposed to safe energy but not to the extend where we kill ourselves, how, when and where we safe is up to us.

Only Pool I visit here is my local Municipal Pool, still gets crowded at times but no toys, etc allowed. Granted they got 4 pools(2 Indoor and 2 Outdoor), so if I want to go for a good swim in summer I just head indoors where few people are.

But, but LulzSec disbanded recently, wonder why they downloaded that info?

You don't need to download anything to proof inferior security.

I think the angle from which it was taken also makes it more crowded.

No I don't think it will happen due to the migration patterns of whales. Also there is no evidence that Japan alone drove northern whales globally into extinction.

If so the world wants to see that proof.

Spidapig24.

But that is the exact problem the WHOLE world is overfishing as the demand for Tuna, Sushi, etc has grown by a far margin globally over the last 10yrs, etc. I think it got close that the whole world now consumes more blue-fin-tuna than Japan(granted japan is still the largest consumer as a country).

Ditto for other fish and whale as many other people outside Japan are curious about the taste. Russia, Korea, etc are wanting to resume commercial whaling as the demand for it is their in their countries.

So pointing fingers and saying you are the bad guy(while doing it yourself in the back) gets you nowhere.

Spidapig24.

Whoah. Back up a minute here.

You are trying to say all the Mediterranean fisher-men, etc that hunt Blue-fin tuna are all Japanese in origin. As are the australians, etc(who coin it majorly) and raise them in in glorified feeding pens.

Also much of the blue-fin tuna that is consumed worldwide is traded via Tsukiji, etc. The same way that 80+% of the worlds Shark-fin is traded via Hong-kong.

Yes, that is what people are saying and backed it up with personal experiences.

Still surprised how adamant that you are right, yet dispute peoples experiences whose kids were in those places.

On what personal experiences with those places is your Opinion based?

Forgot to add.

24/7 callout is in addition to the 9-5 grind, worked many days without any sleep prior.

Having done the 24/7 callout routine and need to be at the office within 20 min, I can feel for those guys/gals. It really does impact your life as well as your social one(GF, etc), not many willing to put up with it. And, yes, that includes rather personal times too.

But I got no feelings for the people that can't forego their personal life's and see a cinema as the same as their living room.

And this takes me back onto topic.

My local curry shop charges me 750Yen for a curry(choice), Naan or yellow rice(long grain) plus yoghurt salad and a drink(lassi is an option).

He offers a few sets the biggest is 2 curries(choice), salad, drink, naan or yellow rice, Tandoori chicken, another type of bread and you won't break 1.400Yen.

Briyani comes in lower and his food got the approval from my Indian, etc friends. As they studied at the local UNI and hated the local curries, etc.

Or will JT demand that an article will be supplied by date X, etc.

I worked alongside Indian, Bangladeshi, etc for over 10yrs and I was often a guest at their homes and most of what is sold commercially as curry don't even come close.

Still can't find a decent Samoosa here, you know the crispy-fried triangles. ;)
