I lived in Japan for two and a half years and I dated a fair number of older women. The relationships in general were much better than those of girls my own age. The zeitgeist of the times is changing, and as you can tell from the responses to this opinion: http://opscotch.com/opinion/detail/its-ok-for-guys-to-date-women-10-years-older-than-them , most people today don't think it's a bad thing for an older girl to date a younger man.
