This is a huge problem in Germany, I'm surprised they do this here too. They have to be charged with attempted murder, because that's what it is.

Don't blame the workers, blame the companies. If your company does not support teleworking then you have no other choice than to go to your job. Sure, you could also refuse to go and lose your job but then what? Lose everything?
I work from home so this situation doesn't affect me but I can see why people still go out to their jobs, because of necessity.

My apartment has 60sqm and 2 floors. Enough for me and my wife, before that we were living in a super tiny 1k (17sqm) apartment.. it wasn't great to be honest, because that's really too small, but if you really like each other then that's doable too. We didn't have a choice at that time.
And we stay at home a lot with or without virus.

Just because you guys are broke it doesn't mean their furniture is bad or too expensive. I just bought a stunning 300000¥ monkeypod designer table in this store, and yeah, that might sound expensive for some but it's actually the cheapest option I found here in Tokyo (for this kind of table).
Other stores sell the exact same table for 500000¥, same wood, same design, width, length and height.
So I appreciate this store, I saved 200000¥ on this table.
