Originated in China.

Is correct

the Japanese were using the technique in the 6-7th century. China did not adopt the practice till the 9th century.

Is incorrect.

As much as I want the mighty Reds to win the Quad

Just get Jon Moss to referee all games remaining. It'll definitely help!

There's enough covid here anyway. That's not anyone's fault, though specifically it has nothing to do with foreign people.

Open the borders, and try to be a bit more since in your actions, Japan.

On the surface it just looks like they're considering opening the borders because Japan NEEDS tourists.

Man not wearing a mask. Man wearing his mask without covering his nose.

Why can't these people represent Japan correctly?

Even with serious symptoms, hospitals here are putting patients in hotels, rather than hospitalizing them!

That's appalling. Is there a reason for this, @Yubaru?

There seems many Japanese who hate Japan

I wouldn't say I hate Japan, though I don't love it.

There are better places to live than Japan, particularly ones that don't need constant reminders of why people like them.

Taiwan definitely isn't a better place to live than Japan

Posted in: Japan remains favorite country for Taiwanese: poll See in context

Let’s see what the Taiwanese has to say when they actually live here and experience how the Japanese society treats them for simply being different.

I think in this case, if you turn round to a Japanese person and confront them, they'll quickly shut up.

Posted in: Japan remains favorite country for Taiwanese: poll See in context

When I lived in Taiwan, I was in Tainan in the south of the country, where certain people speak the Taiwanese dialect (I think..my mind isn't so clear anymore)

Some of the older generations really do not like the Japanese and I was met with a little animosity. As I spent more time there, I discovered this was due to the Japanese occupiers forcing the Taiwanese to speak Japanese, and forcing Japanese culture on the local population.

Not all Taiwanese like Japan, I'm afraid.

But why let facts get in the way of a good bit of patting oneself on the back, Japan-style!!

Many of the Japanese public, however, are supportive of the tight border controls as they think troubles such as the pandemic come from outside their island nation.

However, the border controls have wide public support. Many Japanese tend to think troubles such as the pandemic come from outside their island nation.

I don't.

Ludicrous way of thinking.

The spread of Omicron here has been down to irresponsible behaviour from Japanese people, only.
