Can't see the Yankees being too much of a challenge for GOAT and co.

43 years since the last time they faced each other. Both side of the fan base waited so freaking long for this.

Plus we get to see Ohtani, Betts vs Judge and Soto. We might never see this once in a lifetime opportunity matchup again. The peak of baseball era. Half the country population might tune in for the world series.

I have no idea which teams have won the world series in the last decade but I'll be following this year

Hiro -- How right you are. AL MVP vs. NL MVP. plus the two best sidekicks in the game. Perfect match-up. As well, Dodgers vs. Yankees. This series is the best possible match-up in decades. Yes, and Shohei gets his chance at the title. So does Judge. It just couldn't be better.

@carpslidy--the Dodgers won it a few years ago, so the Yankees much longer WS drought makes them the dark horse. Fun fact: neither team from the 2023 World Series, Rangers / Diamondbacks, got to play even one measly playoff game in 2024.
