Police in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, have arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of breaking into a business hotel room and stealing two mobile phones from the 41-year-old woman occupant.
The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. at a hotel near JR Takasaki Station on Nov 21, TV Asahi reported. Police said three hooded men broke into the room, held down the woman staying there and demanded money or they would kill her.
They stole two mobile phones and fled. The woman was not injured.
After the incident, the three men, who removed their hoods after leaving the hotel, were seen on security camera footage heading to Takasaki Station.
Police arrested one suspect, a company employee, on Sunday and detained a second suspect, a high school student, at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Both suspects belong to the same motorcycle gang, police said, adding they are searching for the third suspect.

Japan has declined terribly. This juvenile crime exemplifies the fact. Not only does this prove motorcycle gangs still exist, but it also shows how women are targeted. Their failed attempt (it sounds like they didn't get the money or kill they lady...) ended in an embarrassing arrest for two of them. In the good old days of Showa, a man was able to get away with hundreds of millions of Yen on motorcycle. At least she is safe and the idiots apprehended.

Should be tried as adults. They knew what they were doing.
