What are we suppose to believe what China says…..not the first of April yet.

Solution: move TSMC to the US, factory and all. Apply the decent Hong Kong/Macau model and let it enter prosperous and peaceful SAR status.

This would solve the issue mentioned in the article (and demonstrate it is a genuine accident i.e. like in the Baltic Sea). Such a sensible move might precipitate a lessening of tensions in the SCS, especially with the existing province's claims and all.

That doesn't solve the issue for the probably 20 million Taiwanese who don't want enslavement to the mainland. It does parallel Israeli forced removals so I can see why you like the idea, though.

Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for China's Taiwan Affairs Office, told reporters in Beijing that damage to undersea cables were a "common maritime accident" which occur more than a hundred times a year globally.

Uh huh. And how many are due to China and its disgusting allies?

What's with Chinese-run ships and dragging anchors cutting undersea cables around the globe

Either it's deliberately malicious, or extreme incompetence

That doesn't solve the issue for the probably 20 million Taiwanese who don't want enslavement to the mainland.

That is true - Taiwanese are very happy to vote out leaders they don't like

Is China gonna provide that? Never! Lol

And Taiwan is already prosperous and peaceful. Just let them be, and they'll remain prosperous and peaceful. Between China and Taiwan, Taiwan is not the one hankering for war
