Don't believe Korean media, all entertainers no matter how popular and successful are still controlled by the management companies. You refuse to work 25 hrs per day, they cut you off and destroy you.

Goldmedalist said the actress owed the company around 0.7 billion won ($483,759.50) in damages and penalties as a result of the drunk driving case.

That is a hefty burden on someone who is effectively shunned from their original career and now working part time jobs.

Don't believe Korean media, all entertainers no matter how popular and successful are still controlled by the management companies.

Kim Soo Hyun's management company is owned by Kim Soo Hyun himself. The dead actress Kim Sae Ron also worked for Kim Soo Hyun's management company.

The issue at hand is whether Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated while Kim Sae Ron was still a minor under 19(In Korea, age of adulthood is 19, not 18). Kim Soo Hyun denies it, but is accused by press.

Kim Sae-ron  was only 15 years of age when Kim Soo-hyun started dating her (he was around 27 years of age I believe). There is clear evidence the two were dating due to diary entries and the such.

One wonders if that kind of grooming eventually led to her developing mental health issues later in life. The drunken driving incident only magnified her issues which led to her death at the young age of only 24.

Kim Soo-hyun is a nasty individual to say the least.
