Amazed that the entire company's future it's dependent on an antiquated design (the 737) with what can be described as a patchwork of add-ons (the Max variant) that noone knows how it got certified and how dare it actually is...

And they hope to compete with Airbus which, unlike "Boiiing"here has diligently done its homework and came up with new and much improved models every 6-8 years.

The recent whistle blower stories out of Boeing are alarming. Especially the one story about using parts that had failed quality inspections.

I've flown millions of miles in my life. I am still amazed there are not more mechanical failures resulting in plane crashes. The stresses on those planes are incredible.

The door plug thing was egregious but the other events would have been difficult to prevent. Mostly apologists hooting on here I will note.
