Which U.S. companies are pulling back on diversity initiatives?

The smart ones.

It's actually really refreshing to see COMMON SENSE come back into the mainstream. Scaling back this DEI nonsense is a MUCH-NEEDED step toward meritocracy and away from divisive, identity-obsessed policies of the Far Left Uber Progressives that undermine workplace competence and unity. Companies should continue to focus on hiring the BEST PERSON for the job, not checking boxes to appease woke mobs.

Equality of opportunity, not outcome, is what actually builds a strong, fair society - something the aforementioned conveniently forgot in their crusade to divide us further.

Robby Starbuck, the hero of the movement. Shocking to hear the details of what these corporate heads are forcing on their employees.

Check out his videos.

All the big companies desperate to show they were democrat-aligned are now rushing to show they are republican-aligned. They don’t believe in anything except money and people are fools to assume otherwise.

Nailed it.

If Harris had won the election, companies would be playing up their diversity strategies.

As Trump won, companies know that the republican platform is generally far less interested in such an issue and are acting accordingly.

If the US were to ever elect an openly gay president, companies would adjust based on that.

Companies exist to make money, just as fish swim and birds fly. There's nothing more to read into it than that.

Personally I don’t care about nationality, race, gender, sexual orientation as long as that person is the best fit for the role. I would not care if I had to hire a cat if it would fit the job. I strongly believe in meritocracy. If someone is minority they should have an equal chance entering the workplace, not a priority because that kind of priority is just discrimination.

Go with meritocracy, instead of filling a checklist in sake of "DEI"..

Exactly, yildiray.

Best man/ woman for the job nothing more nothing less.

To most here DEI equals hiring a minority when it really means giving all an equal opportunity, a fair shake and hiring the best PERSON for the job, regardless of race, gender, etc. That form of equality was hard to get when I was coming up, and that goes for in the U.S. and even in Japan. The white male has always had an upper hand over every other group and did everything in his power to keep people who are like him in positions of power for CENTURIES. They all wants a "meritocracy" now, when it has NEVER been that. You only need to look at the history of the U.S. to see the truth.

All of them. I teach my children that if a person can do it better than you let them do it and do get mad just get better then them. IF you are very good at something you will get it before the people who are not as good. This DEI go against decent harding working parents and decent Parenting. This DEI BS rewards bad parenting.

Oh, here we go again.

Where do we start with this nonsense? If "white males" had such an unearned "upper hand," why did countless immigrants from ALL backgrounds thrive in America? You're not going to like it, but here's the answer: by working hard, not whining about victimhood.

The U.S. became a global powerhouse because it rewarded innovation and merit - not because of some secret white male club.

And, no. DEI isn't ANYTHING about "equal opportunity" - it's about FORCED EQUITY, prioritizing identity over qualifications, and dismantling meritocracy. You want to talk about history? Fine - history shows that playing the victim while tearing others down leads to nothing but mediocrity. Sorry, but you're better than to pretend to be fighting for fairness while spruiking an ideology that divides, excludes, and lowers standards for everyone.

The National Black Farmers Association called on Tractor Supply’s president and CEO to step down shortly after the company's announcement.

I guess the National Black Farmers Association don't see the irony.

I guess even billionaires can be obsequious sycophants.

Wow, you think DEI means giving all an equal opportunity? Really? You can't believe that. That is like saying the sun is made up of ice cubes. Better to keep quiet and have people think you are stup'd than opening your mouth and proving it.
