Again.

I never posted that the laws were good or that I agreed with nor that my experiences was a justification for them. So not sure where you get those views from that I supposedly have.

Time to get some work(meetings) done here, can't play games with you anymore.

Do you know the difference between IME & IMO? And thanks for the personal attack truly uncalled for, but speaks volumes about you.

Tmarie.

IME, many of the ladies that soon remarry are the ones that want to be "kept" as they don't work themselves and thus cannot support themselves and/or kids.

Many will jump ship for a better provider/higher earning husband.

Sad but I have known many ladies like that here, Love, etc don't play a role for them. Those were the same ladies that joined Hitachi, IBM, etc out of school to snag a department head, etc.

Wow, Citirgoup has worse security than Sony, etc.

But as posters here said Japan has the lowest and worst one and is 10yrs behind the USA, etc.

Reminds me of:

Alphaville - Big in Japan.

Deep Purple - Woman from Tokyo

Styx - Mr Roboto

etc, etc.

Not a new trend at all. ;)

Worst is finding a rat with a bit missing after taking a bite.

Ditto with apples and worms, worst is finding half a worm. ;)

tkoind2.

Of you think those same obsessions and lack of so called support don't exist in the west. I got some prime ocean property for you in the gobe desert for sale.

Check the attendance figures for shows in the USA, west(europe) and asia as they will dwarf the ones in Japan.

Few shows just finished in the US and more upcoming, check the figures. Not going to link as the figures are readily available.

bookowls.

There is an OLD saying:

If you want to feel young socialise with the young. If you want to feel old try keeping up.

You still doing fine and can hold your own?

Skep.

Yes, they can myself had a scare not too recently, on meds now and been free of symptoms for a few weeks.

But you need to know your own body, etc to notice the symptoms. Shortness of breath is a good one while climbing stairs, etc.

Once you get past 25/30 you need to take care. Sad but true, once you hit the 4-0 ......

Posted in: Britain to close nuclear unit after Japan crisis See in context

Lets see most nuclear reactors in the world currently operating are oold(reaching or way past their expected life-time).

When did the USA(example), etc put a new power-plant online? Been decades but the power usage has grown by a large factor over the last 20-30 years.

Current plants can't supply it all and besides their age and problems plus been extended to go for another few decades beyond their planned life-expectancy.

So current plants are too old and brittle plus are expected to go for a few more decades, while electricity demands are sky-rocketing(for 3 decades now) because we want our PC's, Ipad's, Cars etc, charged and working 24/7.

Now ask me again why we need those plants when no-one is reducing their power usage but expect more and more from the tab in their wall.

Electric cars, Bikes, etc don't charge themselves out of the nothing, etc. The Electricity needs to come from somewhere and needs to be paid for. Home Solar panels, etc won't cover that demand by themselves alone.

LoveNot.

Does your definition also include people that like to dress up as Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, etc characters? How about people that dress up for Halloween or as Super-heroes, etc?

I think you are on a slippery slope there with your argument.

G+ is still new and being set-up/configured but they will offer better content to FB(give it another 6 months).

No new Software product will be 100% from the word go, if they are they overshoot the goal by a few months/years.

I am on G+ and it works well for mine and other needs, not into extra features, etc I won't use.

ROFL, the rubbing in of salt was a measure to reduce bleeding and stave of infections.

Yeah, it stings and hurts but it was a way to help them get over the punishment and prevent secondary causes. Salt rubbed onto a Mosquito bite will also remove the pain and itching.

As for child-porn the sooner it gets stomped out I am happy, that is pre-teen Child-porn(ie pedophilia) and yes it was common in victorian times for girls aged 8-12 to service customers.

Many countries/counties/states do set the age of consent at age 13/14 so there it is legal.

Agree 100% with herefornow.

And we will see it happening in other fields as the impact will spread over time. We still haven't seen the peak of the true impact yet, watch out for rising trends in unemployment, rise in social welfare cases, etc, etc.

Not at my best this morning but great party last night. :p

If you live in a high-rise/mansion also fumigate the spaces where your meters are kept outside the apartment and similar spaces. Usually in the hallway behind some steel doors, very much temp controlled and the piping often allows them to sneak in as there is a gap between the Pipes and the concrete.

Ditto for aircon pipes/conducts.

IMHO, Lawyers take cases like that mostly because of the Media exposure(advertising) and they will push to keep going as long as possible(often against the wishes of the client). As a successful appeal(if it does happen) enhances them in future possible clients.

Very few lawyers will side personally with a client or belief their innocence/guilt.

Been through interviews like that, afterwards my agency told me that the company flopped it using that style.

Same I have been in mergers where we had different teams come together, many displayed "employee of the months" awards, etc.

Boss told them to take them down as they no longer work for that company and their past achievements don't count here at all.

Also at times requirements of an employment change after the hire, so the goal-posts get moved.

Found japanese costume are better done than overseas ones but than many are bought from pro dress-makers at a high price.

Forgot to add.

At times I do find dead goki inside the fridge and freezer, freezer tray has a few holes in bottom so they come in and get stiffed by the cold. Similar for the ones inside the fridge. Just keep your food containers well sealed and closed.

Worst story I heard (JT Forum) guy had a water purifier below the sink(those that hook into the water-line). When he disconnected it to put a new one in(once a year) he had goki spilling out of the Filter.

Worst Goki I have seen are the "Natal Ferraris", those guys are bigger(bout 6-7cm) than the Kuro-Goki, also fly and are fast as lightning on their Feet.

The Smoke fumigators usually tend to do a good job getting rid of them, just repeat after 2 weeks as said. Next fumigation round will be soon and they will dance the death "La Cucaracha" on the Floor. ;)

There is also a good powder out(comes in a yellow tin that works similar to boric acid and will kill a lot of critters(incl geji-geji, etc) on contact. Very handy if you got a bit of a garden outside, etc as we do.

And as was said many/most actually don't live in the apartment but come in mostly for water and/or food.

Agree he has the right to appeal.

Of course the question is how much was he pressured by his Lawyers to do so, so that they can keep getting their pay-cheques.

Very nice Pic.

Saw a report yesterday on the revamped aquarium on TV yesterday. There are 3 first time attractions for Japan there.

Looks very nice after the revamp and will take son there once the crowds start to quieten down.

Just finished a round of fumigation here.

Now we don't get many of the Kuro-Goki(maybe 2-3 a year/none this year) but we do get the brown(smaller) german ones as well as the small roundish black ones(they love spilled coffee grinds/hint).

So what we did today is use the GREEN smoke fumigator as they get rid of 3 types of our Goki buddies.

Been sweeping them up for hours(not too many) now even after we stopped the fumigation, which will be repeated within 2 weeks.

Ones we get love to live within small cracks like between sliding doors and their posts, etc. Another hint for infestation is small black dots in confined areas, those are eggs.

How can anyone be "deported" from the international area of an airport as it is considered not to belong to any country?

Korea can only deport them once they are on Korean soil but they been refused entry to that one.
