I would be going the opposite direction

Seeing the position the USA a place itself in with no workers willing and capable of working in the manufacture section where the maximum hourly rate will be below $15 an hour. I definitely would like to hear what China will be placing on the table.

Headline is ambiguous- only a select few (those who have a history of cowtowing to the CCP) will meet Poo Bear. He has too many domestic issues on his plate.

Don't trust China. (You know the rest)

Dozens of foreign CEOs will visit Beijing this month

...to hear the usual lies and false promises from the CCP.

It was ever thus.

The whole world know is better to be under Papa China's umbrella..

Patently false.

Much of the world is decoupling from China, and forming alliances/arrangements against it.

Isabella: Much of the world ?? Europe are pivoting towards China, Canada, Mexico is very high on China radar and both have made it clear and are prepared to do more business with China. The South Americas are pivoting to China. This so call Much of the world only leave a couple of fascist regime, No wait, only one, the USA. If you look at all the anti-China post on the thread all seem to be USAmericans. So no China will win this Trade war the USA started. I give you just one example. Case, They know that their USA made products still can not compete with China farming machinery even after the latest tariff impose and are closing down its USA plants. No China is the future and the USA is all but dead and buried.

Perhaps you're unaware of the policies, but many governments have decoupling/derisking strategies.

Just taking your first region, Europe, as an example, it's very clear that it is not "pivoting towards China." It officially labeled China an "economic competitor and systemic rival," and is taking steps to move away from it:

Europe also halted a key trade agreement with China, due to China sanctioning its officials for calling out the Xinjiang Genocide. There is currently little chance of reviving this, given China's actions.

Europe now see China as it only lifeline.

Nah Isabelle your loyal to the USA is misplace. All government Hate Trump. Not all Capitalist hate the CCP.

This is the most import issue.

The CCP have been very consistent on the Capitalist sector of their growth. They realise that why they a powerful force now and not in the near future going change tact.

The USA have been is a slow decline for the last 3 decade due to the deep state and Trump tariff is speeding up the USA decline.

If you detest the PRC so much,,whywhy why do you remain in asia for those of you who are residents of asia. Open eyes time will allow open wallet time!

mmh, are you following the recent Euro press with Ughk, DE and FR govs approaching china as they ditch the unreliable US Antagonist. If I may methinks there is a bit of cherry picking in your literary recounts. Sorries. We have very different experiences, I assure that there is no hatred within me my comments.

The content is still very much valid.

Europe is still derisking, China is still classed as an "economic competitor and systemic rival," and the Comprehensive Agreement on Investment is still suspended.

If you don't believe me, do your own research and find out for yourself.

Europe now see China as it only lifeline.

It really doesn't.

If you detest the PRC so much,,whywhy why do you remain in asia for those of you who are residents of asia.

What a truly ridiculous statement.

Should everyone leave Asia just because the PRC is a menace?

Should everyone leave Europe just because Russia is a menace?

mmh, are you following the recent Euro press with Ughk, DE and FR govs approaching china as they ditch the unreliable US Antagonist.

I do know what's going on in Europe, and what I said is true.

Again, if you don't believe me, do your own research.

Foreign direct investment into China fell 13.4% year-on-year in January, according to official data released last month.

Good reasons for above long-term downward FDI trend

Especially collapsing demographics in China, ongoing military buildup, property market deflation, ongoing, widespread and unresolved geopolitical and trade tensions with US, increasing US technology sanctions etc.

What's the catalyst to increase FDI into China? Why US Corps' busy reducing their China supply chain exposure
