There have been numerous near-misses in the past due to the strict flight path that jets have to take coming in to land at the runway, along with the fact that the military routinely conducts flight trainings so close to the airport. They should look into how to adjust the flight path so as not to put airplanes in the path of any danger and how to not allow the military to conduct trainings so close to the airport. I still believe that a deliberate action cannot be ruled out, but bad ATC and a bad helicopter visual awareness are probably factors in the collision. There were at least three in the helicopter which means at least one should have been looking for the plane.
