I've never seen a paper straw that was acceptable. Maybe if it were so heavily coated in wax that it is effectively a plastic straw.

such an important issue - the straw crisis.

Kids are being gunned down at school and inflation is raising the prices of basic necessities to absurd levels, and yet, this is what the clown in the suit decides to focus on. How very presidential of him...not.

Regarding paper straws - I have no issue with them. The ones at Maccas for example are hard like cardboard and hold up well in the drinks.

Plastic. That's what I grew up with. That's what I like.

Using paper straws with plastic lid, what's the point ? I have the perfect ceramic mug that fits starbucks' large coffee, I always bring my mug.

No straws at all. A small sacrifice or inconvenience.

paper straws do not work but pasta straws do.

I cannot remember the last time I used any straws.

If you had been in hospital in the US, straws would have been mandatory.

Which do you prefer:

I prefer he worry about more important things, no one cares about the straws in 2025.

Why is it even on the docket? Why not just get rid of all the straws? People don't know how to drink without one?
