Police in Osaka have arrested an unemployed 23-year-old woman on suspicion of assault after she cut off her 21-year-old boyfriend’s finger with a hatchet and one of his nipples with scissors.
According to police, the victim told them that the woman, Saki Sato, attacked him because "she suspected me of cheating, and she cut off my ring finger so that I couldn't marry another woman,” NTV reported.
Sato has denied the charge and claims the man cut off the finger himself, police said.
The two are believed to have met on social media two years ago and had been living together since last July. The couple had four consultations with the police regarding relationship troubles since then.
In January, Sato called police and said her boyfriend had gotten violent toward her after an argument about breaking up. When police went to their apartment, they found the severed ring finger in a bottle of liquid in the refrigerator.
They also found the man's bankbook and smartphone in the Sato's safe.
Police said Sato has been charged with three counts of assault.

I hope the torture she dished out receives a punishment equivalent to what we would expect to be imposed on an awful domineering man convicted of the same offense: stealing his girlfriend’s bankbook and smartphone, hatcheting off her ring finger, and snipping off her nipple with scissors.

I wonder how she was able to sever his ring finger with a hatchet but not the others? Was he asleep? Also, cut off his nipple? Was she afraid he would breastfeed his child? She is a psycho!

I’m no CSI expert but cutting off another person’s ring finger with a hatchet seems pretty well impossible without cutting off the rest of the fingers. Something is not right about this pair of loons.

Lawyer for the woman ,getting tongue tied and wanting to say, the offence of this type was unlikely to reoccur . came up with ....

Sitting here at my desk I've just extended my ring finger over the top of the desk and folded the others down against the front edge which would make it very easy to lop off most of my ring finger with a hatchet. Try it yourself.

This is a crime of passion they would say, I would call it a crime of pure wickedness, evil eying the comprehension of decent folk Some care not a jot about carrying out crimes such as this. The women should never walk the streets again for she has shown she cannot behave in an acceptable manner.
