President Donald Trump has accused his Democratic rival Joe Biden of having connections to the “radical left”

The US 'radical left' has always been small in size and had minimal influence on the country's political-economic system. The 'radical left' is just the name of another bugbear, an imaginary force like 'the media' and 'deep state' used by the alt right.

Trump's still living in the 1950s, the era of his childhood, when McCarthy-ism prevailed. The days of separate but equal, no environmental protection, no consumer protection, when he thought America was 'great'.

Trump's distracting from his connections to the radical right, including his connections to nations governed by authoritarian led systems of national socialism. Those nations that are helping him undermine the remaining bits of the US republic.

18 ( +20 / -2 )

The message has been amplified daily by Trump's conservative media allies, despite a lack of evidence.

There is plenty of evidence.

-15 ( +3 / -18 )

Interesting. Here is s man who cannot CLIM nor descend s ramp, who cannot lift a drink with one hand, a man who is so obese and doesn't exercise and eats double cheese burger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner accusing someone who jogs every time of I'll health.

17 ( +20 / -3 )

Both are way too old. Needs to be an age limit. 60 years at the start of office.

14 ( +17 / -3 )

There is a 21% chance that an average man of Biden's age would not survive his first term and a 15% chance that an average man of Trump's would not survive his second

Gotta go with Trump then, right? :D

In Biden's case, he has obvious dementia and it is highly likely his VP will take over during his term and so our first woman president, likely a non-white woman, would be a non-elected president which would have severe repercussions.

While Biden has so far resisted attacking Trump's age

Yeah, he's 4 years older than Trump.

or mental health

Biden would have no room to talk.

an unrelated Trump attack accusing Biden of supporting the far-left push to defund police departments, although he said he doesn't.

Yeah, guaranteed if Biden gets in we're going to have police defunded.

-23 ( +2 / -25 )

The US 'radical left' has always been small in size and had minimal influence on the country's political-economic system

I guess you haven't been paying attention during the past few years. The Democratic Party is not what it was even a few years ago. You don't think the far left Squad has much influence on the party? They do.

Here is s man who cannot CLIM nor descend s ramp, who cannot lift a drink with one hand

He explained that at the Tulsa rally. He was trying to protect his silk tie.

-22 ( +3 / -25 )

likely a non-white woman, would be a non-elected president which would have severe repercussions.

This is facepalm territory.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

whether it be Trump or Biden, they are both geriatric white males representing vested interests that are completely out of touch with modern America's needs....

9 ( +10 / -1 )

He explained that at the Tulsa rally. He was trying to protect his silk tie.

Plus it's difficult to walk down hill wearing lifts and high heels.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

He explained that at the Tulsa rally. He was trying to protect his silk tie.

And the idiots not only believed him but cheered like village idiots when Trump actually drunk water from a glass one-handed.  This is his base my friends, a bunch of infantile fools.  Much like their idol.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

As dumb as Trump is, Biden does clearly suffer from dementia and electing him president would be as disastrous as reelecting Trump. We're kinda screwed either way here.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

We're kinda screwed either way here.

Looks and quacks like it. Vote for Trump and America will be great but in smaller broken and divided pieces (read dysfunctional). A vote for Biden is a vote for Xi Jinping and Tedros of the WHO, goodbye America.

Why is it so hard to get electoral funding for good, competent and respectable candidates in US elections? Is this a powershift to enable corporate elites to run the country?

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

He explained that at the Tulsa rally.

Well, he ATTEMPTED to trumpsplain it AWAY...

He was trying to protect his silk tie.

Which is much easier to do with two tiny hands than protecting the American people (131,000 dead and climbing inexorably to 200,000+) with poorly functioning mental capacities , innit?

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Despite risks, Trump invests big in attacks on Biden's age

I wonder who’s idea it was for Biden to get a face lift before the start of his campaign? My moneys on Hillary.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

We're kinda screwed either way here.

I agree. But I think if Trump's re-elected the republic will die an even faster death and the 'elite' will have so much control the country can put nails in the coffin of its remaining democratic principles.

And the world will say goodby, so long, farewell to US military forces abroad - a positive in my mind - and watch as the Chinese and Russian empires findlandize and perhaps even occupy larger areas of the globe through Belt and Road andthe Eurasian Economic Union.

With Biden there's a sliver of a chance. Tiny, but a slight chance for the republic to regain some of the stability seen during President Obama's terms. That would depend, of course, on Biden's ability to drain the huge swamp Trump's built and on who he brings with him to try to undo the damages done by the Trump Syndicate.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I agree. But I think if Trump's re-elected the republic will die an even faster death

Not as fast as if Biden is elected, I give the country 6 months from that point of death for the nation.

and watch as the Chinese and Russian empires findlandize and perhaps even occupy larger areas of the globe through Belt and Road andthe Eurasian Economic Union.

If Biden is President, I have no doubt that will definitely happen.

With Biden there's a sliver of a chance.

Of the country retaining its culture and heritage? A very slim chance, very slim.

Tiny, but a slight chance for the republic to regain some of the stability seen during President Obama's terms.

Back to the good old days of regulations, high taxes and stagnant growth.

That would depend, of course, on Biden's ability to drain the huge swamp Trump's built and on who he brings with him to try to undo the damages done by the Trump Syndicate.

Well, that won’t happen.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

That's Trump's strategy, going for Biden's age?

Yet another nail in the coffin for his presidency this November.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

The US 'radical left' has always been small in size and had minimal influence on the country's political-economic system.

Not anymore!

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

He explained that at the Tulsa rally. He was trying to protect his silk tie.

If he can no longer drink one handed without dribbling down his front, it is definitely time for him to step down.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

DeTrump ... always at it.

Can't he come up with anything better?

But he doesn't stop going lower and lower ..... seems there ain't no limit!

4 ( +6 / -2 )

That's Trump's strategy, going for Biden's age?

Yet another nail in the coffin for his presidency this November

Oh, I doubt that. Why wouldn’t Trump not go after Biden’s mental acuity?

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

What a pathetic loser..

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Classic pot-kettle moment.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

The fraud currently occupying the White House was a registered Democrat for most of his adult life.

Since he became a Republican, he has demeaned and insulted Democrats on a daily basis.

His ineptitude as President of the United States of America (POTUS) has been brought to bear with the current pandemic.

The damage his administration has done to We the People of the United States of America (U.S./USA) will take decades, if ever, to repair. He has devalued the prestige of the nation and still want to subject the country, and the world at large, to four more years of incompetence.

Enough already.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

What’s the image of an aging, decrepit, sellout white man politician? ( drum roll) Joe Biden.

You know it and I know it. And you’re going to vote for him, hoping he keels over and a female radical cleans him off the floor. What a joke. Depressing, but we gotta smile somehow.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Trump is right. My partners mother has dementia and I can’t imagine her knowing whether it is the green button or the red on to stop a nuclear missile attack.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Correct. Why would someone like Kamala Harris- who only got 1 percent of the Dem vote for President- just get handed the job after Biden has to quit?

In Biden's case, he has obvious dementia and it is highly likely his VP will take over during his term and so our first woman president, likely a non-white woman, would be a non-elected president which would have severe repercussions.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

@bass4funk come on man, it’s time dude. Time to stop logging on and trying to defend the indefensible. Trump is nothing but a con man, grifter, charlatan... et bloody cetera.

Him going after Biden like this is typical of his kind of empty bullys@&t.

At best he is a reality tv star, who acted at being a real estate mogul.

If he is your idea of a great president, then your standards have hit rock bottom and you obviously hate your country.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

President Donald Trump has accused his Democratic rival Joe Biden of having connections to the “radical left” and has pilloried his relationship with China, his record on criminal justice, his plans for the pandemic and even his son's business dealings.

Biden couldn't be in a better place - his political opponent is self-imploding before his eyes - and the eyes of the American public.

An economy that is in tatters, more dead in five months than in Vietnam and Korea combined, unhinged rants about statues when the virus is surging and claiming lives across America...

And what's the President doing? Well, either playing golf or hiding in the bunker...

Trump surrendered and lost the war against the virus - American doesn't re-elect Losers....

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Job candidate- Hey Im really old and my mental faculties are fading fast. But I have someone else with me who will take over a few months after my family (Dem party) convinces me to quit. Then my handpicked, but unqualified person who has already been declined for this same job, will take over for me.

Before that, my family will be doing my daily work in the background and I will just be reading prepared documents aloud from a basement.

Do you hire this person?

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

Biden’s declining mind is clearly a problem but for those believing Trump’s mind is on the ball, here is his reply to Trump backside-kisser Sean Hannity on the question of his agenda for a second term:

“I always say talent is more important than experience, I always say that. I never did this before, I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington, I think, 17 times. All of a sudden, I’m president of the United States. You know the story. I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our first lady, and I say, ‘This is great.’ But I didn’t know very many people in Washington. It wasn’t my thing. I was from Manhattan, from New York. Now I know everybody. And I have great people in the administration. You make some mistakes. Like, you know, an idiot like [John] Bolton, all he wanted to do was drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to kill people."

Real razor sharp thinking there....

8 ( +9 / -1 )

"Im Joe Biden's husband, Joe Biden."

thats on the ball. yep.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

@Black

Job candidate#2 - Hey I'm really old and fat. I am a dumb TV host and shady real estate developer that cheated in school with 6 bankruptcies, 5 kids from 3 different marriages, 11 charges of sexual assault, and 4,000 plus lawsuits as president. I stole and funneled money through a scam nonprofit with my children. I tend to hire only the best people not qualified for the positions I gave them including my children. Only a few them have been convicted of crimes unlike the previous administration that zero cases.

Did I mention I was personally responsible for mismanaging a pandemic that ruined a stable economy, raised unemployment to 11%, put 40 million people out of work, and killed over 130,000 people since January? I also did nothing when Russia was offering bounties on the killing of US military and personnel.

During work hours I: Rally, Golf, Tweet, and Repeat!

Do you hire this person?

11 ( +12 / -1 )

This person was already hired 4 years ago and I am satisfied with my choice.

I have no intention to replace this person with Candidate #1 and their unqualified friend who their family picked to replace him a couple months after his mind is completely gone.

Do you hire this person?

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

"I might be old but he's really old!"

Yeah, by just a couple of years. They're both old fogies. Let's show that video clip of Trump holding up that bottle of water to his lips. Looks just like my great-grandmother sipping on some brandy.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Biden too old? Maybe.

But, he'll win in a landslide because he can physically hold a glass over Trump's peak degree of difficulty two handed slurps for sustenance and his struggle to walk down a ramp...Donald's geriatric tip toe shuffle down his slippery slope. Should have slowed down on those Big Mac's.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Both elitist sex pests. Either way, America is done for.

Of the country retaining its culture and heritage? A very slim chance, very slim.

To be fair, a culture and heritage that celebrates slavery would not be missed.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Im Joe Biden's husband, Joe Biden."

thats on the ball. yep.

As I said, Biden’s mental decline is a real issue.

Trump’s mind was once described by the image of blowing up a balloon, holding the end, lifting up your hand, releasing it and watching it fly chaotically around the room making farting noises. The quote I posted is a perfect example of that.

Not a great choice here.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

The trump campaign clutching at straws here, using something which will definitely backfire.

All it will end up showing is how stupid and ignorant trump is.

And when they attack his fitnesses levels it will be game over for trump!!!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

In Biden's case, he has obvious dementia and it is highly likely his VP will take over during his term and so our first woman president, likely a non-white woman, would be a non-elected president which would have severe repercussions.

Do you think Gerald Ford was an unelected president?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Trump’s team is pumping millions of dollars into the broadside and vowed this week not to back off.

Obscene.

Money could be spent on healthcare, services and education.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Imagine what will Putin,XI,Kim,Erdogan reacts when they were watching the 2020 US president TV debate of Trump/Biden attacking each other's age and mentality....? They will laughing loud and chating with jokes in phones!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The message has been amplified daily by Trump's conservative media allies, despite a lack of evidence.

There is more evidence of this than there is evidence of Trump's collusion with Russia, his ties with China and whatever the heck the Ukraine thing was about. Why not amplify the message? ;-)

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

@Black

*This person was already hired 4 years ago and I am satisfied with my choice.*

I have no intention to replace this person with Candidate #1 and their unqualified friend who their family picked to replace him a couple months after his mind is completely gone.

Then anyone would question your judgement! The person you helped hire has managed to bring back

1918 Pandemic

The Great Depression of 1929

The Race riots of 1968

Donald Trump’s lies and rhetoric feed off people's worst fears to spread hate, racism, misogyny, Islam-a-phobia, unabashed bigotry, and discrimination, and how that rhetoric coincides, point for point, with the prophesies in the bible.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

so our first woman president, likely a non-white woman, would be a non-elected president

You mean someone who hadn't won the popular vote? The chutzpah!

4 ( +4 / -0 )

In other news... and now the Dems are doing their best to ensure Biden doesn't have to debate Trump... pmls

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

"I mean, she DOES have a strong track record of working under her older, male colleagues..."

Where do these lies come from? As San Francisco County District Attorney she led her department. She wasn't working under anyone. She was elected to the post and was answerable to the voters. Likewise as California Attorney General she was elected to lead a department, not to be anybodies understudy. Her position was independent of the Governor and the State Legislature, though she needed to work productively with both to achieve the state's goals. Now she is a US Senator. How does that make her working under older male colleagues as you put it? She is an accomplished political leader in her own right.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

This person was already hired 4 years ago and I am satisfied with my choice.

That's what Putin said...

I have no intention to replace this person with Candidate #1 and their unqualified friend who their family picked to replace him a couple months after his mind is completely gone.

I'm glad you are reading the polls and recognize Biden is WAY out in front as "Candidate #1", as compared to "Candidate #2 and Self-Imploding"...

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Putin, Putin. It never ends.

Polls, polls. Never right. the 12 point lead will become 8, 6, 4 then on election day.....lose again.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

At least Biden doesn't promote injecting Mr. Clean to fight COVID-19. I'm also worried that Trump won't leave even if he loses. He will say it's fake news. To Trump people: What has Trump actually accomplished? I don't mean fighting abortion. For example he has really failed with TrumpCare and there is only 3 miles of the new Trump wall (the rest is just replacement).

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Putin, Putin. It never ends.

Polls, polls. Never right. the 12 point lead will become 8, 6, 4 then on election day.....lose again.

LOL! The Right is having a mental meltdown like the idiot in the WH.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Oh really? When was this?

Did she ever say FAKE NEWS when Trump beat her?

meanwhile Biden says police have “become the enemy” and he supports cutting their funding, “absolutely! “

And Trump retweets "white power" and promotes injecting Mr. Clean to fight COVID-19.

Get another competent Republican to replace Trump then, and there is a fair chance I would vote for him/her over Biden.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Politik Kills - bass4funk come on man, it’s time dude. Time to stop logging on and trying to defend the indefensible.

Personally, I believe Biden has suffered a stroke. He was the Dem Party candidate from the beginning. Bernie, and the other never-had-a-chance candidates, never had a chance at the Dem nomination. Now they're stuck with him. Stuck with Biden, and whoever the Dems think is going to replace him in two years.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

The supposed 14 point Biden lead nationally is already down to 9 (The Economist) and 4 (The Hill/Harris) as of today.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

There was no "white power" chant or cheer as the media tries to portray it. Just a sarcastic response to verbal harassment.

Incredible insight into the motive behind the shout of someone you don’t know. I don’t know how anyone could say this unless they have a partisan agenda and see what they want to see.

Did this uncanny ability allow you to spot Trump’s sarcasm about injecting disinfectant and reducing testing right off the bat? His team were flummoxed by both and sent out all kinds of mixed messages.

I’m in awe of this skill. It would help on poker evenings.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

The supposed 14 point Biden lead nationally is already down to 9 (The Economist) and 4 (The Hill/Harris) as of today.

Good on Trump if he wins bit better stay safe in Japan since you are much safer under Japan's govern

5 ( +5 / -0 )

ment healthcare compared to TrumpCare

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Is that ever true... But it will end on Nov 3rd when Putin's Puppet is shown the door...

One hopes.

There is a narrative being promoted that if Biden wins, it will be down to Chinese interference in the elections.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The President is correct in questioning Biden's mental faculties. The democrats/far-left presumptive candidate is on record of not knowing what day it is, where he is, what office he is running for, who his wife is, etc.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

The President is correct in questioning Biden's mental faculties

Me too but Trump is worse off since he says people should inject Mr. Clean to fight COVID-19.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

There is no doubt though that Joe Biden IS slipping. He is nowhere near as sharp as he used to be *bit of a left handed compliment, but still'.....

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Trump has 91% chance of winning second term, professor’s model predicts

(News Quote)

Trump people, it looks like Trump will win. But you don't have to worry even if he loses since he will refuse to leave the WH

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Nishikat, I did check. You need a bit of context. He was spitballing ideas with reporters and in fact took pains to say, "It wouldn't be with injections".

Biden's issues have been apparent for a long time. He touches women and girls inappropriately and to the point that they are uncomfortable. His explanation that he is just a "friendly guy" is nonsense. You never NEVER see photos of Biden sniffing a guy's hair, or rubbing his shoulders, or grabbing him from behind and whispering in his ear. It's clearly a sexual thrill for him.

Add that to his clear decline mentally and you have a very flawed, dare I say dangerous, candidate.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

A separate television ad produced by a pro-Trump super PAC openly suggests Biden has dementia.

The Biden camp has enough and more to counter that.

Revolutionary war airports comes to mind.

Even if he had an issue with reading, he has to be incredibly stupid not to understand what he is saying.

And then he has an issue with pronouncing my handle ROFL!!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Two elderly medicated sexual predators in the running for PotUS.

How could anyone take the US seriously with such a terrible choice?

3 ( +6 / -3 )

You can imagine the GOP slogan ' Our candidate doesn't have dementia , he's just incredibly stupid'!!!!

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Heretic, I may actually agree with you on that. There are more than 300 million people in the US, and these two are the best they could come up with?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

You can imagine the GOP slogan ' Our candidate doesn't have dementia , he's just incredibly stupid'!!!!

Dunno, there does seem to be a bit of intelligence at work behind the scenes. There's Republicans who are growing spines and then there's hawks like the Lincoln Project who are putting out some very effective ads highlighting Trump's gross incompetence.

Not that the GOP should ever be allowed govern again, in any shape or form, but I believe Trump's days as PotUS are numbered.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I get tired of the whole casual slurring of people calling those they disagree with "stupid". You can disagree with Trump, his poilcies, his lifestyle, fine. But the man has substantial accomplishments. He ran a billion dollar company, starred in a number one TV show, and won the Presidency in his first try at politics (beating a candidate who was touted as "the most qualified candidate ever"). I think there are a lot of sour grapes involved.

Give credit where credit is due.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

But the man has substantial accomplishments. He ran a billion dollar company, starred in a number one TV show

He presided over numerous failed businesses and bankruptcies. How does inherited wealth equal intelligence?

Give credit where credit is due.

Oh, ok. Thank you Mr President for accelerating the virus and almost destroying America and her international standing. Kudos.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Nishikat, I did check. You need a bit of context. He was spitballing ideas with reporters and in fact took pains to say, "It wouldn't be with injections".

None of this is true.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

So his whole campaign is now "the other guy is 3 years older than me."?

Pathetic but I guess its about all he has left to go on.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

just gotta get that Black vote that they are entitled to.

But all Trump needs is to increase from 6-8% last time to 12-15% this time and he is reelected.
